Few thoughts,
-I think Petan does draw in tonight and I’ll happy if he does
-Can we stop with the Enstrom talk, he’s not an nhl’er. Let me repeat!!! He’s not in the nhl thus is not an nhl’er!! Was he offered a couple one year league min deals, probably, but he’s no longer an nhl D, because he’s no longer in the nhl. Debate over.
-Laine needs to make himself better, stop counting on other player or coaches to do it. His salary is dropping like a stone
- I’m hard on Myers, he hasn’t been as bad the last two games. Morrow, Chairot and Kulikov could all go on waivers and I wouldn’t bat an eye.
-split up 55&26
-Little has been good and shown consistent effort. A lot of people have been very hard on him and should step up and recant
-a lot of people ripped broisent prior to the year, again, admit you were wrong.
-truth, leafs are a better built team for regular season and we are better built for playoffs!!! And the nhl is still played and reffed differently during the two seasons

Ehlers-Scheifele-Wheeler for now....

I know it’s savrilege to talk about dismantling the TLC line - so don’t @ me. However, I’d be interested in seeing how Laine and Lowry would work together.

Put Copp with them to create a ‘smash’ line, or put Rosco with them to create a bit of flash and speed.

Worth a try, in practice anyway.

The Jets haven't put together a complete game all year. Their best effort was against the Preds ... when the refs gave them 9 straight penalties to kill.

Watching Trouba and Laine is becoming utterly painful ... for anyone, let alone someone who played professionally for 5 years.

The amount of slow circling Laine does ... I love the kid, but I'm tempted to buy him a shiny new pair of figure skates. He won't stop in an attempt to recover a puck. He rarely engages in puck battles other than waving his stick as he coasts by or skates away instead of using his giant body. He loses 95% of puck battles along the boards. Add all that to the fact he's so slow to recover the puck on the PP (or any other time) and gives himself no time ... creating puck battles that he tries to stickhandle out of and, naturally, winds up turning the puck over.

I'm glad to see Maurice finally had the nuts to drop him to the 4th line. Take it a step further though. The kid needs to be a healthy scratch and be removed from the top PP for a serious wake up call.

As for Trouba ... where is the accountability for his poor play? Flat footed so often, turnover central, soooooo slooooow to make decisions or reads on plays. Give Morrissey a break and make Trouba a healthy scratch as well. Even better, trade him while people still think he has real value. He doesn't think the game fast enough and his foot speed will only get worse.

Regardless, always an optimistic Jets fan, but those two need to be sent a real message and I want to see real accountability for poor play.

Despite all the worried writers with regards to the Jets play, the team could temporarily be in first place overall in the NHL with a win tonight.

I fear if Laine doesn't break out of his funk soon we might see the return of "the beard". Lets just hope he starts to play better for all our sakes.

This is on Maurice, this is coaching!!! Sitting back, trying to clog up neutral zone to start the third, that’s a coaching decision to sit back and protect. Horrible

Byfuglien bellowing at Laine “YOU GOTTA MOVE”

Laine looks like he’s mailing it in waiting for his 10mil. Frustrating

Wheeler needs to swallow his pride and sit until he’s healthy. He’s been absolutely horrible away from the powerplay.

Lemieux isn’t good, isn’t getting results, and doesn’t even seem to be trying.
Laine-Petan-Roslovic would work so much better for all involved, even if 4th line Laine is dumb as f*ck.

The Jets need to find a defensive partner to stabilize Myers, and call Niku up for Buff. Chiarot, Morrow, and now Kulikov are sub-NHL defencemen.

Also, Maurice isn’t cutting it, but he’s got Chipman on his side, so Chevy can’t do anything
